Zircon is a mineral species that that can be found in many different colors, ranging from colorless to blue, yellow, green, brown, orange red and occasionally purple. At the turn of the last century it was commonly used in its colorless formation as a diamond stimulant for its high optical properties. Today it is appreciated for its vivid saturations and high brilliancy.
